Planting progress has been limited the last two weeks as we received some much needed precipitation along with cooler temperatures. We are currently over half done with corn planting, half of which has emerged. When it dries up we have just over two days of corn planting left. The biggest thing holding the crop back as of late is the cool temperatures. We have had lows in the mid 30s and highs only in the 50s. It doesn’t seem like the light frosts have caused much damage but things aren’t growing much in these temperatures. The rain we got over the weekend totaled 1.6″.
